Malaysia is one of the countries where tourism is very big business. Malaysia has been recorded in the top three countries with the highest foreign exchange revenue. Therefore, Malaysia is one of the countries that earn foreign exchange from the many tourists that visit the place. In the series of visit Malaysia campaign, visit Malaysia 2020 is the latest big thing. And since the Honourable Malaysia Prime Minister supported this initiative since 2017, it has been an embraced landmark. Therefore, this essay describes in detail what is visit Malaysia 2020.
According to (Weekly, 2020), Malaysia 2020 has a goal to ensure that all the industries in Malaysia are united together and collaborate in achieving this goal. Therefore, the industries are obliged to unite so that they can attract tourists to Malaysia. The ultimate goal for these industries is to ensure that all the tourists from all parts of the globe are welcome and experience the ultimate hospitality offered by the Malaysians and that they enjoy all the tourists’ attraction sites in Malaysia.
Moreover, the visit Malaysia 2020 is inspired by the Malaysian vision 2020 objectives which are to focus on the sustainability of arts, culture and tourism which is targeted to reduce all the adverse effects of tourism development. Therefore, since it visits Malaysia year, many of the Malaysians have invited so many tourists to Malaysia, and they have worked so hard to make sure the tourists feel welcome as it is the tradition. Consequently, Malaysia has earned massive foreign revenue from the tourists and the traditional culture has been embraced.
To sum up, visit Malaysia 2020 is a great deal to the Malaysians who take it as their traditions and who play an active role to see it come to pass. For instance, all the industries especially those which involve tourist cites are vibrant to attract more and more tourists to those cites so that the country can make more revenue and embrace its traditions (Teoh, 2019).
