Summary
Weitzman makes the statement after judge Mary rattan had sworn him, and had taken his oath. He says that in 1963, November 22, he was standing at the Houston and main corner. At that time, the president passed through the corner and headed towards the Stermon. As I turned my head back to look at him, I heard three gun fires. I headed towards the north, where I thoughts the gun fires originated. But someone claimed that the gunfire was from the Texas old building. I rushed to the building and began searching together with the assistant of the sheriff’s department. As we carried on with our search captain, Fritz came to the scene and ordered the sixth floor to be barricaded and searched. Around 1:22 sheriff and I identified a rifle on sixth floor in a northwest corner between some cartons close to the staircases. Captain fritz then took ownership of the gun and fired one from the scene. The bullet was a 7.65 Mauser bolt with an equipment scope of 4/18. It had brown, black sling leather.
