The apostles found themselves taking their message to new cultures. Paul was chosen by Christ to be his envoy to the Gentiles. Paul often had to deal with a matter of traditions and customs, which meant he had to have an impartial stance towards new cultures to relay the gospel.

Paul managed to remain respectful to other cultures because he believed that, inherently, people are the same. Paul makes it clear in his messages that everyone needs the salvation of Christ, regardless of their origin or beliefs. Due to this position, Paul changed his mannerisms to suit his audience on different occasions. Paul would adopt different styles across different cultures to avoid causing blocks that would frustrate his mission. Paul achieved this by coupling his messages with virtues like patience and humility, which enabled him to work alongside others and forge partnerships. He then managed to penetrate through different cultures without changing the core of his message.

As a missionary of the word, Paul was able to interact and bond with them due to his perception of their culture. Paul was compliant and flexible, and this enabled him to put up with other religions and other people’s needs. Regarding consulting, a person should not assume an imposing stance while trying to communicate their attitude towards a matter. By realizing we are all inherently the same, we should win other people over in attempting to adopt their point of view rather than contradicting them.
