There exist been perceptions of people leaving California, but much has not been done on the reasons why this is taking place. This paper handles variables such as stiff regulations, floods, and fires that have seen the loss of lives and properties. Furthermore, the other factor that is highlighted is the high cost of living in this state of California.

LITERATURE REVIEW

In the previous year, 2019, more than 691,000 people who lived in California State moved out. The data, as mentioned earlier, was furnished courtesy of the census that was conducted in 2018 (Olda, 2018). It has been reported that this has been happening for the last seven years. The number of people leaving the orange county more than any other county within the state, the other countries that have seen a considerable amount of people going for different regions is the Golden States. This state penalizes a business person who is a legal citizen and handling a legitimate business that is in tandem with all federal, local, and state laws (Nicholas, 2019). They further punish those who make sure they pay the local taxes, those creating employment, and the state as well. What pains the business community is the fact that the country seems to be less attentive to the issues pressing them. It is further noted that there are a plethora of other regulations and laws that California business should keep in check and the concern of the future uncertainties. Most of these reasons have been linked with the colossal number of people leaving the golden states. The companies or business that has exited the state includes Chevron, Toyota, occidental petroleum, Jamba juice, and Nestle USA (Nicholas, 2019).

It has employed other past research works done by other authors, students, researchers, and reports from other institutions, for instance, the national census. The main reasons that have been touched include; stiff regulations, floods and fires, and, finally, the high cost of living. The chapter looked into variables that will be looked into in section that will follow this (Methodology).

METHODOLOGY

The study method that will be employed in this case is the descriptive analysis. It is attached earnest data on habits, attitudes, thoughts, and preferences in regard to the elements of the respondents (Bougie & Sekaran, 2020). In accordance to Sekaran the final research model is a sort of model that assumes utilization of the gathered information, on the current status of events to describe and quote; what exists and quote; in accordance to situations and elements in a condition in a specific period in time (Bougie & Sekaran, 2020).

The qualitative and quantitative (mixed design) will be employed In the research collection of data, analysis and, even the interpretation of data. The qualitative research seeks to define and analyze the behavior and history of individuals and the case study from the investigation subject.

Participants of this research

The population is the whole set of assemblages for which the study data are applied to make assumptions. The target population describes the units for which the decisions of the study are expected to be generalized (Bougie & Sekaran, 2020). This research will collect data from the inhabitants of the State of California and its counties, the business people, and the local government.

Setting

The setting of this study is in California State in the United States of America. The research will touch the surrounding regions around California. The study will be conducted in California, where the data that will be collected is expected to reflect on the total population of California. The data are drawn from the community likely is enough to give the interpretation of the study conducted.

Instruments

Data collection instruments are a rudimental part of the research. If systematic and accuracy of data is anything to go by, then the research instruments are to be selected with precision (Goddard & Melville, 2011). The tools that will be employed in the research is questionnaire. This will be of the essence in the collection of data. Furthermore, Key informant schedules, Tape recorder, Research notebook, Observation checklist will be employed by the researcher.

Procedure

The planning procedure employs data collected and data from other studies that were captured in the literature review and on a different section of the survey. Authentic and valid results from the collected data will then be analyzed in a manner that it can be interpreted as a formidable foundation to put in place the proposed area (Goddard & Melville, 2011). The research assumes both the qualitative and quantitative analysis of data. The data will be analyzed using the R-statistical package, and the drawn conclusion will be presented using graphs and charts. The researcher will then conclude and give a favorable recommendation to the research study.

The analysis

Quantitative data will be analyzed using the R- statistical package, and the drawn data conclusion will be presented using graphs, charts, and tables where necessary for interpretation and understanding of the existing plan of the area. Linear models will describe a continuous response variable as a function of one or more predictor variables. They will help us understand and predict the behavior of complex systems or analyze experimental, financial, and biological data (Goddard & Melville, 2011).
