Why choose the nursing profession?
I am Elsie a student in this Massbay community college. Nursing program is the career of choice for me. I am applying for the scholarship because I need funding to enable be enlarge my knowledge in nursing, extend my visions, and also to get the opportunity to exchange my ideas with others in the nursing profession. I plan to expand my expertise knowledge in nursing in this college by forming career networks. My dream of being a professional nurse will be fulfilled through this scholarship program.
Nursing is my profession of choice because of the passion I have to help those in pain. I am challenged when I see people suffering from different diseases thus I need to undergo nursing training. I need to do something interesting, challenging, and that makes a difference in the lives of people around me including those in this college. The career will enable me to practice and know what the community is suffering from which needs to be tackled using a different mindset in which its skills will be learned in this Massbay community college.
Additionally, the nursing profession applies directly to what you learn as a career with what is real in the life of the people. What challenges me to choose nursing as a program is dealing with crucial events in patient care which includes life and death. The nursing program will be good for me to develop new knowledge and skills that will enable me to deal with the aspects of patient care across all ages and it is my pleasure caring for the patients. This dream can only be fulfilled in this college and that’s why I choose to apply for this scholarship.
