Wind Energy
Introduction
Wind energy has many various advantages. Research has shown that it is one of the fastest-growing energy sources in the world. It has, however, been trying for this energy to be used. This is because many challenges are facing the wind energy system. Wind power is nonetheless beneficial, especially when it comes to saving costs on energy. Wind energy is more efficient than any other form of energy.
Wind energy is environmentally friendly, as it has less effect on global warming. The many gases that are produced during the production of power by other forms of energy are too high. These gases tend to cover the ozone layer, therefore, emitting a lot of heat. These gases include carbon dioxide. Burning of natural gases to produce electricity tends to produce up to two pounds of carbon dioxide. Wind, on the other hand, only emits 0.02 pounds of carbon dioxide. Its energy is inexhaustible, which can go a long way in maintaining future electricity needs. This energy will provide affordable lighting solutions to the citizens. Once the investment is set, the operational costs are minimal, which will, in turn, lead to the stability of prices. It is reliable since there is a low possibility of a lack of wind. They have modular systems that have turbines that continuously continue to work even if the others fail.
Conclusion
Wind energy would go a long way in catering lighting needs for the people if it implemented. This will include environmental benefits as well as health benefits for the people. It is not costly to install these systems when compared to the endless benefits that it will bring along.
