Proper planning of a business is key to achieving the goals and the objectives of any business. All the employees should be able to perform their respective duties on time to make success.
Tim, the manager of the coffee shop, has several tasks and responsibilities. One of the most critical roles of Tim is to ensure that all the employees are motivated. One way of stimulating the employees is by adding some bonuses to their net salary to reward their hard work. This method of motivation will enable employees to work more hard to get additional pay.
Inspection of the shop is a significant role to Tim. By inspecting the shop, Tim will ensure that the shop is always clean as per the customer requirements and therefore the shop will attract more customers hence achieving the goals of the coffee shop (Wiliiams, 2014). Preparing the payrolls is also an essential task to Tim as the general manager of the shop and also ensuring that all the bills are paid at the right time.
Tim has a crucial role in making the advertisement decisions for the business. Choosing a proper advertisement method will popularize the business. In the process, the advertisement will answer several questions for the target customers (MacKenzie, 2017). This will, in turn, attract more customers to the coffee shop hence making more profits, which leads to the success of Tim’s business. Tim also has the role of communicating with the vendors and sales and always ensuring that the supply is stocked.
In sum, both the owners and the employees have to perform their respective roles in achieving business goals and objectives.
