generosity and determination
Human beings portray different behaviors to others, depending on prevailing circumstances. Equally, people behave in different ways when faced with challenges that block their way to academic and general greatness. However, an individual’s greatness depends on the way he/she relates to others and techniques applied to overcome personal challenges. In this regard, generosity and determination define me best in relating to people and achieving my goals, respectively.
I have an inherent generosity to any person who is challenged in many ways. In most cases, my liberality extends to people who are not able to pay back what I give them. According to Rainer (2017), generous people do not desire to acquire more wealth for them to give out. This trait fits me very well as I started giving out what I have to those in need as early as when I was a student. My family background back in schooling days did not determine whether I should be generous or not since I shared the little I had with less privileged colleagues who had no other source of help.
Moreover, determination adequately describes my character in terms of being spirited to achieve my goals in life. Wise (2017) demonstrates that a determined person understands when he//she falls and gets up to continue with his/her journey. To me, falling is not an issue that should make me give up. After obstacles seem so many and my destiny obscured, it is not my time to give up, but enhance the internal toughness that drives me to achieve my goals. Furthermore, I always go after what I want and understand that it is not enough to survive, and existing is not who I am, but thriving is the key everything I do (Wise, 2017). Therefore, determination is what has led me to be what I am today.
In a nutshell, generosity and determination are my best personality descriptions. I love sharing whatever I have with people who are considered to be the least in the community. Equally, determination, as my inherent character, enables me to achieve my life goals despite the impending challenges.
