The T-Shirt Production Innovators
Key Issue
The shutting down of bar in providence, in Rhode Island, was a significant issue that leads walker Williams and Evans Stites-Clayton to come up with an idea of printing T-shirts. This idea was the best, but the cost struck them, and they had the difficulty of estimating the number of T-shirts required to order. This made Williams come up with an idea of developing a website to take orders and measure demand and posted the link to the Facebook site.
Contributory Factors
- The closing of the bar, which was their favorite business, made Williams and Evan Stites-Clayton come with an idea of establishing a T-shirt company.
- The lack of upfront costs of determining the demand and size of T-shirts made Williams, and Evan Stites-Clayton was a factor that contributes to the establishment of Teespring company.
- Lack of marketing platform made Williams develop a website they could use to make orders and measure demand and to post the link to the site on Facebook.
- The establishing of Teespring emerged due to Williams posting on the website that attracted Aha to look for Williams and entered a business that led to building Teespring and at the moment Teespring to emerge one of the top T-shirt vendors in the United States.

The Root Cause
The establishment of Teespring was as a result of the closing of their favorite bar in providence, Rhode Island. The printing of T-shirts on demand was due to the availability of the market to avoid the challenge of inventory accumulation. The issue of looking for the designer was to help Teespring look for the market by use of social media. The selling of T-shirts is contributed by the company posting on Facebook.
Solution
The company should develop more tool to help them market their T-shirts that enables them to upload their ideas and slogans. The designer should set more designs that the customers can choose from. Teespring should expand its market to more countries so that to have broader market worldwide. The company and the designer should develop the same tools that will enable them to post their ideas and slogans to attract more clients. The designer should set more goals and look for a broader favorite of T-shirts to give more varieties to clients (Kohler,2015).
Advantage.
Having a company like Teespring is not enough to guarantee more sales, but developing an active website will enable the company to market its T-shirt more conveniently and reaches more people (Burns and Tran 2014). A designer is critical as it helps Teespring to set goals and determine the demand for T-shirts required in the market. The means of having a direct link to customers helps Teespring to sell the T-shirts at an affordable price and generate more profits.
Disadvantage
The problem of having a direct link to the customer reduces the production rate as the company will use more time to look for clients. Teespring should have a marketing team to help them in selling their T-shirts.
Final Suggestions
- I would suggest that Teespring company develop more tools to help post their ideas and slogans in many countries so that to increase the market demand for their T-shirts.
- I would suggest that the company use other advertising platforms like televisions and not depend online on the internet so that they can reach more customers and increase the market for their T-shirts worldwide.
