The Project Form
- Discuss with the nurse supervisor on the primary problem in healthcare that affects nurses that can be solved with a simple project.
- Come up with the policy idea that will address the issue, and deliberate whether it is appropriate
- Define, and analyze the policy proposal with a focus on the relevance of the policy to the hospital, and its impact on healthcare
- Conduct a policy analysis where I look at the options for the policy, anticipated challenges, the interventions, and its goals
- Create a plan on how I will develop the policy and implement it where I identify the stakeholders and the resources I needed, and how to acquire them. I will then create the list of activities that will be involved, and the orders of those activities. I will determine milestones and timelines. I will also identify the literature I need, how to access, and examine them.
- Once the project proposal is complete, I will journal my activities, including the outcome, and challenges encountered.
