The conformity of the defining features of an essay The conformity of the defining features of an essay is quite evident in the article. The piece is lengthwise short, simple, and understandable. Moreover, she applies both ethos, pathos, and logos to pass her message of persuasion to the audience. The artistic skills deployed in this piece of art, technical conforms to the definition of the essay. The common idea of a wife material has a different take, as per the article done by Judy Brady. Brady defines the term wife throughout the article. Repetitively, she illustrates the unrealistic expectation of a wife that men and society want. First, in the introductory part of the writing, she introduces herself as a wife. By this, she can establish ethos by crediting herself as a wife and a mother; therefore, whatever pertains to a wife, it’s all embedded in her. She sharply defines and emphasis on being a wife and also a mother. For example, she says “I belong to the classification of people known as wives, and also I am a mother”…
Reflection Reading the quiet violence of dreams was very enlightening. However, I found reading the novel fluently a challenge since it was composed of several changes in the flow. In the story, the author employs the use of different points of view of different characters, and this makes it difficult to follow. I had to read back and forth for me to understand the concepts that the author was discussing. I, however, managed to work through the challenges through writing down every character in the book, and I would take notes on when the voice of a particular person is reflecting or speaking. Through this, I was able to read the book and understand it. Some of the essential parts that I came across include the concept of hypocrisy that is depicted by the African society. Ideally, the community of Africa is willing to accept and accommodate immigrant gays but not those who are from their continent. I feel that this is a common thing, and raising it in the book is a reflection of the nature of African society.
Audience and stakeholders Audience primarily includes a particular section of population interested in your products and service. Stakeholders include people, groups, or organizations whose actions affect a company or who are affected by a company’s activities. Stakeholders are divided into; Primary stakeholders and secondary stakeholders. Primary stakeholders have a direct interest in a company, for example, customers and employees. Secondary stakeholders have a reasonable influence on the company; for example, competitors and people living within the vicinity of a business. Audience can also be stakeholders. Creating a persona for a target audience is essential because it influences a company’s products or services demand and sales in the market. Conducting research for a target audience is therefore necessary. A company can consequently conduct the following analysis: Target market; age, gender, locations, and interests. Level of demand for the products or services offered by the company. Previous customer experience in order to improve the quality of products and services Products and services offered by competitors. Which ones do the clients prefer? Stakeholders can be identified in the following ways: Conducting interviews with…
Decision made by the management Management is always presented with a situation where they have to make a decision. Decision making is one of the hardest tasks the management experience in the day to day activities (Bergstra& Burgess, 2020).Boeing 737 max plane crash painted a picture of insecurity in its customers, and in any business, the customers are the boss. The management, therefore, have to make a decision that will affect the company positively The management decided to update the Boeing 737 that had the clash instead of buying a new plane. The ruling favored the control since they did not have to spend much money on adding another flight in the company (Bergstra& Burgess, 2020). The mentality that customers might have on their safety on the plane is questionable; this might result in losing customers. Human minds are engineered in such a way that they celebrate anything and thus forsake the old ones. The only remedy for clearing the intention of the passengers could be purchasing a new plane. In Conclusion, the decision made by the management was pivotal…
Urban communities The pessimistic perception of urban communities started during the period of turbulent change that resulted from the rapidly growing cities. However, cities in the 20th century experienced something unusual in the sense that they were shrinking instead of expanding (Sampson, 2017). This is one of the most exciting pieces of knowledge from the excerpt. It is incredibly ironic how a city with permanent buildings and infrastructure could shrink. At least remaining stagnant is understandable, but for me, shrinking interests me. The concept of understanding the term community and its relationship to crime has become more ambiguous. Research conducted recently has introduced new approaches to analyzing the influence of society on crimes(Sampson, 2017). The field of criminology is shifted from a one that offers a single and particular unit of analysis to a multi contextual area that considers several units of analysis—the units of analysis in the multicontextual field range from micro to macro continuum. Community processes that relate to criminal activities occur at the meso-level scale(Sampson, 2017).Meso refers to a geographic region that hosts residents and institutions, and…
The ECB mode and the CBD Answer to Q4, (a) The problemassociated with ECB mode includes; ifthe same key is used to create encrypted identical plain texts, then the similar ciphertexts are created, which allows a hacker to have a clue of what the encrypted message is about from the ciphertext. Another problem is that ECB mode is highly malleable in that it encrypts blocks of plain texts separately; hence an attacker can easily peace them together through the generation of new valid ciphertexts. Question 4, (b) With CBC mode, an Initialization Vector is introduced that exclusively contains plain text before or before encryption. The CBD has a first and second round of encryption, which entails random encryption of public values, and the second round is the ciphertext for the previous series. This helps in fixing the creation of identical ciphertext blocks from identical plain text blocks in ECB mode. Question 4 (c) Since the encryption is sequential, one block has to be calculated after another hence time consuming, and another drawback is on the usage of IV, which means…

Health Care Risk Management Program Introduction By creating an institution – a comprehensive safety culture – hospitals can better identify and address risks that arise in other areas. For small and rural hospitals, it is crucial to shop at all levels and departments. To meet the needs of the state’s small, rural, not-for-profit hospitals, the facilities work with the Department of Health and other state and federal agencies to minimize risks. This paper analyses the Health Care Risk Management Program. Health Care Risk Management Plan Summary Management, providers, volunteers, and employees must act as a team, with all members involved in risk management protocols. A health clinic’s risk management plan must be designed to support all clinical risks and patient safety in their respective forms. It must also address the potential for errors, system failures, and other system failures. When an error or event occurs, such as a system breakdown, the risk of patient safety and health liability of the healthcare provider is minimized. The program aims at prevention or minimization of events, errors, or system failures that result in…
German culture Without a thorough understanding of the German culture, Walmart imposed American values on the Germans. For instance, the company hired sales clerks to smile and greet the German shoppers (Landler and Barbaro, 2006 n.p). Since the Germans are not accustomed to friendly gestures, they perceived this behavior as strange. This issue should have been addressed by thoroughly understanding the German culture to avoid annoying German customers. More so, Walmart’s top executives adopted English, the corporate language, even though Walmart’s old managers in Germany did not speak English (The Open University of Hong Kong, 2016 n.p). As such, there were communication issues, and Walmart’s suppliers declined to conduct business with the retailer. The situation could have been improved by implementing strategies to effectively communicate with the German managers as they know the local market. Walmart tried to integrate the German culture into its business model, although it was too late to leverage the company due to the huge losses. Walmart Inc. failed to establish good relations with the German labor unions. The poor relations were caused by the retailer’s…
