Nerikomi and Agateware  Nerikomi is a Japanese compound word formed by two words “neri” meaning to mix, and “komi” means to press into. Therefore, Nerikomi means molding with clay. The technique was used traditionally to create patterns with colored clay. Agateware is a ceramic technique used for combining clay with contrasting colors to form different patterns. Both ceramic techniques are used to combine colored clays to achieve high contrast patterns and marbling. Both techniques are similar because they are used in artistry to combine different colored clays and make an exciting pattern through their mode of operation is different. Nerikomi and agateware are similar because both of them involve combining various colored clay. Both techniques are achieved by combining the clays of different colors. Michigan Penal System             The Michigan penal system dates back to the establishment of the first prison in 1839. The correctional system has stagnated for a long time without significant changes being noticed. For example, the state of Michigan was served by a single prison for over 150 years. The prison later split into four prisons in 1988. The penal system has witnessed dramatic changes in the past fifty years due to the changes in the law system. Even though the definition of crime could be similar for the entire US, each state has a unique law system. The charges and sentences given for several crimes are done at the state level. The dramatic growth of the Michigan correctional services can be attributed to the dramatic growth in the number of inmates in Michigan prisons in the past 50 years. The story of success book review The story of success is a non-fiction book written by Malcolm Gladwell, which was published in November 2008. Gladwell in his book Outliers investigate the factors that contribute to success where he supports his Thesis by concrete and real-life evidence (Newell, 15). The book was appreciated by several reviewers on the questions it posed and how the book expressed how much an individual’s potential is ignored by society. Outliers by Gladwell was also criticized by some reviewers for using a style of writing that oversimplifies social phenomena.  Gladwell uses a unique style of writing, fallacies, and real-life evidence to show how hard work and brains lead to individuals to success.
