Response to a Discussion Post The student makes a very insightful point on the several disparities in the criminal justice system. The gender inequality in courts is evident because often, women offenders get a more lenient sentence compared to their fellow male offenders. However, not all women are treated leniently, as the poor minority women get harsh penalties; some not equal to the nature of their crime.
