President Roosevelt’s move of paying farmers During the great depression During the great depression, President Roosevelt’s move of paying farmers to plant less tends to be a good policy. The primary reason for embracing this strategy was to reduce supply with an ambition of increasing demand. Farmers were suffering. They could work hard but end up selling their produce at a throw-away price, making them incur significant losses. It turns out that the policy worked well during the great depression since farmers were able to get relatively high returns from their produce. However, I believe this policy can only work better during an extreme downturn. On normal occasions, this policy can elicit hoarding, leading to the formation of cartels, which in the long run, may end up reaping more profits through exploiting consumers. Scarcity elicits demand, this policy by Roosevelt worked well, and it was among the several strategies that helped the United States battle the great depression. Question 2 Policymakers are usually caught in limbo when they are trying to raise revenue while at the same time improving the…
Play Proposal GENERAL INFORMATION General Summary: Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of the most critically acclaimed plays of the 18th century England. It features an ensemble of diverse groups of characters who explore the nature of different kinds of romantic love and the volatility between real and imagined worlds. The piece blends romance with humor as a way to balance the plot conflicts brought about by the different scenes in the play. Project Description I plan to create a music video that will be based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I will adapt the music video by editing and translating much of the difficult words and language used in Shakespeare’s original text while retaining the overall meaning in order to suit a contemporary audience. The aim is to tap into the power of imagination in the audience by treating the main ideas and themes in A Midsummer Night’s Dream as of paramount importance. The material, in this case, the genre and form of the music, take secondary importance. DETAILED INFORMATION Reasons for the proposed music video: A…

Revision Plan Based on the feedback from the instructor, there are several positives that I can point out and draw strength and encouragement from as far as the course is concerned. These areas include the introduction, grammar, source integration, and conclusion. However, on the same breathe, various vital areas remain contentious as their grading was never close to being perfect. These three areas are the paragraph development and organization of the ideas in work. In paragraph development, my work has consistently fallen below the threshold of what the perfect assignment entails. In most cases, it has never gone beyond 7.5 points. Such an aspect translates to it in need of more development and the points tied back to the thesis sentence. Additionally, there should be more examples backing the claims, and the examples must be well-developed. On the organization of the sentence, several works I have submitted falls under the 7.5 score as well. In this regard, the paper lacks clarity, cohesion, and flow. Such an aspect needs several remedial measures to be put in place. Several interventions could be…
Analysis of Rhodes Industries Expansion and internationalization strategies employed by firms come with benefits and challenges. While increased revenues tend to be a definite advantage, organizing the branches and subsidiaries of a firm scattered across the globe often presents challenges, primarily in reporting and communication. The endeavour may also foster internal competition among the subsidiaries the firm, as witnessed by the Rhode Industries (RI) case study. This analysis explores the implications of changes recommended to the brand’s CEO. Competitiveness and Adaptivity of Subsidiaries through forced coordination Forced coordination between subsidiaries would have both advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, forcing coordination would increase communication throughout the firm. Doing so would enable subsidiaries to efficiently share information about market changes, technological and innovative developments, as well as new product ideas. In so doing, it would allow the top management to make strategic decisions to increase competitiveness. Similarly, forced coordination promises to boost economies of scale while increasing investment funds through reduced costs of production. Equally, it would allow the top management to formulate collective goals and objectives, hence enabling all the to subsidiaries…
Is it better to live rich or poor? People were not created equally, creating a difference in level and social class. Some work hard to achieve their goals, and some go through hardships to have what they want in life. Therefore, both the rich and the poor have variations in the social statuses, income, and other great opportunities of life. Rich people have a high social class. They have money, beautiful houses, and even cars. Additionally, they have a high income, which they do not worry about how they spend when compared to the poor. Riches have the great privileges of the great opportunities of life, which starts from education to the high paying jobs. Rich people only care about their wealth, reputation, and they are full of greed, and the only thing they care about is making more money. Furthermore, they are full of the idea of degrading the poor in order to achieve success, even if it means destroying other people’s lives. On the other hand, the poor fight to survive among the rich and dedicate their lives…

Risk response Risk Response planning engages the development of options and determination of action to enhance opportunities as the threats to the project’s objectives are reduced. However, not all risks are removed during the process, and some remain e.g., health and safety, which are referred to as residual risk. In some situations, some risk response can eliminate risk, and another chance is created, this is referred as a secondary risk. Risk Response in Register The risk response action for each risk is entered into the “Response Actions” column of the risk register. Risk responses are options and activities that enhance opportunities or reduce threats. The PMRT, PRM, PM, or project team decide upon the response action to risks listed in the risk register. The response action is then assigned to one person, the person responsible for executing and monitoring the risk response that is chosen. Planned risk responses must be appropriate to the significance of the risk, cost-effective in meeting the challenge, realistic within the project context and agreed upon by all parties involved, and owned by a single person. …
Unity and Symbolism in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry, a minor wizard uses magic to fight off “Dementors” out of the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is illegal, therefore, he has to face a disciplinary hearing. The Sorting Hat cautions that the students have to unite to face the common enemy. However, the students are already split into houses by the Hogwarts school system. Also, they are challenged by the separate dormitories they sleep in and cannot see each other often. Dumbledore’s Army contributes to the plot of the narrative, as its formation and organization display the efforts of Harry and his friends towards deliverance from Lord Voldemort, the common enemy. Throughout the story, the theme of unity is depicted by the small study group, Dumbledore’s Army, which fights for the security of its members and is against the cruelty of Lord Voldemort. Besides, symbolism contributes to the plot, where Delores Umbridge, Dumbledore’s Army, the Threstals, and Occlumency signify the wars against each group’s interests and success. First, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Hermione are…
