Conception to Birth
After watching the video, I realized that the fetus begins developing after conception. From the stages of fetus development, I also learned that the heart forms after a few weeks of conception, contrary to what I thought before. The video has helped me understand that the life of a baby begins immediately after conception. When the two cells meet, the baby starts developing immediately. I have also understood that vital organs begin forming in the first few weeks, which explains that the fetus develops faster in the first few months of pregnancy. During the first weeks of conception, most of the vital organs that constitute a healthy human being form, and therefore, the life of a fetus begins the sperm and ovum meet immediately. The video has educated a life on the process of conception and fetus development. The magic then happens in pregnancy and how rapidly a fetus develops into a baby. I have also understood the process of heart and brain development and how rapidly they develop in the first few weeks after conception. The video has also given me the understanding that babies may have felt while I the womb, and therefore, performing an abortion may be hurting them. Just like other humans, their cells develop at a very first-rate, explaining how they develop different organs very first. These fetuses may have feelings or hear what happens around them, and therefore mothers should be keen on what they take. From my understanding of the video, the babies ay also feel pain since they develop different cells, including the nerve cells. An abortion may be difficult for an individual who has watched the video, and it may make one change their mind easily.
Before watching the video, I was pro-choice. I considered myself a prochoice because I thought women have the choice to keep or terminate the pregnancy because it is their body. After watching this video, I have learned a lot about the process of conception, and I have shifted from being pro-choice to a pro-life. The process of fetus development is really touching, and in every process, I see the baby developing into a human. I could also see that they may be having feelings from the first day of conception, and performing an abortion may hurt them. My views have greatly changed after watching the film and have given me a lot of information on the process of conception and the life of a fetus in the womb. The video has changed me in a way that I have started viewing conception as the creation of another human who deserves to live just like anyone else. With their rapid development in the womb, it shows how they are ready to live since the vital organs that make up a complete human are already developing. As a pro-choice, I used to think that the fetus develops after a few months, but after the video, my knowledge has greatly expanded. But now I have shifted to becoming a pro-life after realizing that the life of a fetus is important from the way they develop rapidly. Fetuses develop very first and have them eager to live just like other human beings. Their process of development from conception is usually rapid, especially in the first few weeks after conception making it bad to perform an abortion.
