Concepts and theories in nursing
I think the theories in nursing are designed to support the need for research as well as definitions of some existing phenomena. I think the definitions of theories and concepts have been the basis of understanding the course as well as being convenient with the practice. The diverse views and phenomena have also been developed over the course based on the concepts I learned. Grand nursing theories, for instance, present the widest scope, propositions, and general concepts. The concepts describe different aspects of nursing include health and public health, among others. I believe that theory-based nursing practice gives the nurses a chance to plan and implement care, an aspect that increases their efficiency (Bousso et al., 2014). This is due to the idea that they can purposefully and systematically practice nursing. In my opinion, the concepts and theories in nursing are diverse and dynamic based n the changes in both the practice due to globalization, among other factors.
I believe the basis of nursing practices and theories creates a basis for what nurses know and what they need to know. This presents the idea that nursing is a dynamic field based on the basis of future research on different aspects and concepts. The broad perspectives of nursing incorporate the social and cultural perspectives that are currently part of the basis for the nursing practice (Dobrina et al., 2014). My understanding of liberal education theories also presents an understanding of human experiences. This directly relates to the concepts and theories in nursing in the sense that it provides the basis for knowledge collections and understanding. I understand that the theories and concepts have been the basis of understanding diversity issues in healthcare delivery, as well as the aspects that are necessary for problem-solving.
