Dead poet society tells an American film story of English teacher of imagery to conservative Vermont boys school of Welton Academy who gave inspirations to his student through teaching poetry. This film received box office success by winning of BEFTA Award for best foreign film. From Walden, it noted by transcendentalist David Thoreau, the text displays simple natural living of natural surroundings. The book points out some scientific analysis of nature phenomenon, poetic and metaphorical. Walden (disambiguation). Thoreau memoir part and his spiritual aspirations made Walden open to announce that he spent several years living simple life of sampling popular and scientific names and records of details of different plants and animals.

In the 1920s era, their evolved a tremendous change in the socially and politically in the world of American Literature. Different communities listened to music and learned same dances or spoke same language. Dead Poets Society points some important consensus affecting the performances genuinely from the young inspirational turn and from Robin Williams. Meanwhile the performance by Dead Poets Society was far less. Keating is a handful of impressionable boy. (The New York Times. He was gifted and demonstrated his skills. From other point of view Roger Ebert reviewed it negatively. He criticized that William was spoiling creditable performance into his comedian’s persona. He described that the film was poorly constructed because it pays lip service to qualities and values. Ebert said that he would prefer to have swapped Williams with a choice of either Matt Dillon Drugstone cowboy or for John Cusack Say Anything. Consequently, he chose the films best picture nominations as the worst of the nominations year.

Todd Anderson is one of the Welton most promising students who began his senior schooling at Welton Academy. Consequently, he is assigned some of the promising students named; Neil Perry as his roommate and Knox Overstreet, Richard Cameron, Steven Meeks, Gerard Pitts as well as Charlie Dalton. During the first classes with the new English teacher John at Welton encourages his students to live extraordinarily by summarizing the Latin expression carpe diem. Keating at the time was am member Dead Poets Society when he was still at Welton. Keating lessons and active participations encouraged them him to live his life on his own terms. Thoreau argues of a simplified lifestyle and illustrates the spiritual benefits of the four necessities for any being to survive (food, shelter, clothing and fuel). He records expenditures and earnings. The poem also criticizes moral and intellectual superiority of poverty. He inspects poem “The pretensions of poverty” and tries to protest his views against those of town people. The town people view the society as the only place to live. He accounts reasons behind his move to Walden Pond and to the construction of his new home.

Neil restarts a club that attracts his friends and forces them to sneak off campus where they are able to read and verse their own compositions. With a progress Keating’s involvement in the club he realizes his potential after he helps Todd come of his shell through exercising self-expression in front of the class. He publishes the article about the club to the schools newspaper demanding admission of girls to Welton. Nolan warms Keating to discourage students from questioning the authority following Charlie revealing Dead Poets Society. Discovery by his father in the involvement in the forces Neil as a result quits. Thereafter, he advises Keating to stand his ground. Nolan with the request of the Perry family investigates death of Neil. Keating is blamed by following Neil’s death and he is accused of escaping death by his own participation in the Society. Everyone was called in Nolan’s office in order to sign a letter of looking into the truth of Richards allegations. Todd is reluctant to sign and is forced to sign after everybody had complied. Keating is stopped to teach and later Nolan is assigned the duty of teaching the class. Keating interrupts the class while collecting his work articles before he left. Todd noisily explains that they were forced to sign a letter of Keating dismissal following Neil’s death. He finally salutes Keating. Half of the class does the same as Keating exits thanking the boys.

Thoreau discusses what he sees as benefits of the classical literature that originated from Greek or Latin. He points lack of popularity unsophisticated literature Concord. In the book he explains the loneliness and mediates his pleasures of escaping society things. He reflects on new companionship with an old settler who arrives and settles nearby and a woman with great memory. He repeatedly reflects on the nature benefits attained from deep communion with its states. The companionship always leaves three chairs for visitors and how he has more comers in Walden than the ones he had in the city. Thoreau touches on the joy of his new environment and his new hobby/job. He focuses the second bath on the reflections on journey in the Concord where he is able to collect the latest gossip with the townsmen. He writes on the observations of the Walden Pond and its neighbors whom he describes as lovelier.

Walden transcendentalism criticism emphasizes on the importance of closeness to the nature of existing desperate of solitude and contemplation. Therefore, the book contains social critique of communist’s attitudes and the distance from the destruction by nature. He realizes significant and importance of self reliance in term of financial and interpersonal relations. He seeks to make his lifestyle simple hence patches the clothes on leisure times. He uses spiritual awakening to realize the truth of life and holds spiritual awakening component of life.

In conclusion, its clearly observed that Walden books play critic role on physiological transcendentalism. Dead poets Society is highly recommended for significant performance of real characters in the story.
