Discussion: Research-based Peer Alternative Response to 2.3
JGJ organization being a retail and distribution company, require a strong market positioning and strategies which will help them to retain and attract their customers. The strategies include making their products different through product offerings (Conklin & Sorrell, 2009) . This is evident that the products which are innovated tend to meet the needs of the customers. By doing this, the company will tend to enjoy more advantages over competing related businesses. JGJ will thus need to research the wants and needs of the customers in terms of the services and the wants. During their research, it should focus on the marketing costs, which will help in the differentiation.
Additionally, product development entails the pricing of the product being sold in the business. This is done by considering the income of the customers and the main focus of making the profit in the business. However, it should be known that the pricing will tend to change due to the variation of the supply and the demand and services at different times. This, therefore, will help to identify the ideal product price, which the company can fix a lower price while maximizing the profit.
Notably, organizational differentiation can also be used. Organizational differentiation entails maximizing the power of the brand as well as using particular advantages which are possessed by an organization (Conklin & Sorrell, 2009). For JGJ, this strategy can be utilized by maximizing the use of its well-known brand, which in essence, is instrumental to the business.
