Marketing Reflection – Discussion
I believe that the two most vital concepts that I have learned in my course are; Marketing plan and the SWOT analysis. The ideas are relevant since I can be able to apply them in my career, current job, and future.
SWOT Analysis is a useful and straightforward context for analyzing firm strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. SWOT analysis has assisted business personnel to generate their best. (Gürel, Emet, & Merba 2017). More so, it discourses what someone is lacking and reaches out in minimizing risks and taking the right path to success. SWOT will enable us to be a step ahead of meeting our goals and competition.
Marketing plan/ strategies for your service and product describes the company activities intended in accomplishing a specific marketing objective within planned, set time. (Dib, Allan 2018). They make sales easier for the owner of a business. Statics have shown that when a business person targets a model customer in a keener way, it increases the chances of converting lead into sales and reduces the cost of marketing. More so, it enables an individual to be more focused on business.
I feel this course has benefitted me much in the prospect of my MBA curriculum. The reason I state this is because this course has given me real-life challenges and has also allowed me to put together my business plan to help further in business, study, and my fiancé dream of owning our wellness center. Planning of the future is essential as we know that a goal without a plan is like a wish on the wind.
