(b) How do you assess the significance of the issues/questions the author writes about in the article? Are you convinced the issues/questions are important? Why? Why not? Be sure to identify and discuss the model/models or economic theory/theories implicit in the article. (e) Can you comment on the accuracy of the author’s use of economic concepts? (f) Is the article well written?[unique_solution] How could it have been done better? 2. You can select the newspaper article for your critical review from one of the sources listed below. You can also select from other newspapers not included in the list but you need to get your tutor′s permission first. We suggest the article you select to not be older than 5 years. Please note that you must consult and cite multiple references [outside of the newspaper article you have chosen] in writing the critical review essay. It is good practice to use a wide range of relevant sources in preparing a university level essay, as high-quality analysis requires that substantial effort has been put into research. This applies to the Introduction to Economics critical review assignment as well, with past essays earning the highest marks having usually used at least six or more sources. The idea is for you to support your arguments in your critical review by invoking what other authors have written on the subject matter. For example, suppose a student has chosen a newspaper article that talks about ′the economic consequences of climate change′. There are many scholars who have written on this topic (in journals, books, newspaper articles etc) arguing climate change will have adverse economic consequences and therefore needs to be tackled promptly. So, a student who has selected an article on ‘the economic consequences of climate change’ should cite some of these other authors to strengthen his/her arguments in the critical review essay. attached is a sample of what a research and critical review essay may look like
