Shareholders Analysis
Needs and expectations of individuals, organizations, or groups with interest in the project who are capable of mobilizing resources and affecting the outcome of the project must become considered. Therefore for a successful project, a project stakeholder’s analysis is the identification and understanding of the needs and expectations of the shareholders within and outside the business (Feng et al., 2012). The study therefore carries and examines the individuals and organizations actively involved in the project and can positively or negatively affect the outcome with their interests.
The Rosa County Public Safety Upgrade project stakeholders include the vendors, general subcontractor, superior construction, and the customers who are the call takers withy the Rosa County department. In their bid to offer a better response network offering different modular formulas and a generated upgraded call center, Alex met with the stakeholders. Alex has to identify the primary stakeholders who have direct interests in the project and the secondary stakeholders who have no direct interest but affect the project (Feng et al., 2012). Call takers and dispatchers, the subcontractors, and superior construction make up the primary stakeholders, while regulation from the governments and the competing safety system make the secondary stakeholders.
To make up a better system upgrade, Alex has to align their interests in having a better emergency response process and also plan for future growth while accommodating the current number of call takers and dispatchers. Therefore Alex had to bring them together and inform them of the importance of a pod design instead of the two linear rows currently in use. Consequently, since they are concerned with the cost carrying, a stakeholder’s analysis helps in defining the importance of the new program, which Dave does so by explaining how they reduce noise and uses a different work station.
