shortage of schools for businesspeople in every area of expertise

There is no shortage of schools for businesspeople in every area of expertise. However, there exists no school for CEOs other than the school of experience. It is always, therefore, crucial for the chief executive to learn how to lead a company that must happen under every stakeholder watch. The role of CEOs is unique and cannot be compared to any other function within the organization. It’s the role of the senior executive by definition to take the ultimate responsibility in decision making. No matter the situation or where the company is located, the CEO must always develop over-arching philosophy and strategies that he or she believes that they can best add value to the organization. Every CEO should exercise a coherent leadership approach as well as a definite style of management that does not reflect personal style. Such methods are meaningful to any organization and can quickly meet all the needs of a business situation and organization. To ensure that the company is moving forward, the CEO should consider how strong the competitors are, the growth of the industry, capital and human assets of the organization, and finally, how close the company is in attaining its set goals. Any CEO who put into consideration these measures plays a vital role in the success of an organization.

The role of management in an organization is very critical. Management refers to the process of monitoring developments, allocation, and the maintenance of resources that facilitates in attaining the organizational goals. At any given time, the managers are the people responsible for carrying out and developing this management process. Generally, management is broad, and it regularly evolves to meet the organization’s needs and constraints both in the external and internal environments. At the international level, where the rate of change is often, adaptability and flexibility are critical to managerial practice. To facilitate this and to ensure the success of an organization, the management is regulated by four crucial functional areas that include organizing, controlling, planning, and leading. These four main activities form a tightly integrated cycle of actions and thoughts. Through these perspectives, the management is described by the roles it plays in anticipating the potential opportunities or problems and equally designing some mechanisms on how to deal with them. Management also facilitates the success of an organization by allocating and coordinating the much-needed resources that are required in implementing plans. In addition, it guides the organization personnel through the reviewing of results, implementation process, and finally, making the necessary changes. All these functions are independent of each other, and the manager takes the role of applying each of them in the course of a typical workday. A self-motivated and well planned, management that practicing the outlined principles is good enough to take the company into the next level.

No business operates on a vacuum, but instead, they work in a dynamic environment that has one on one influence on how they function and whether they will attain their set objectives. This form of an external business environment is made up of various outside forces and organizations that can further be subdivided into sub environments. Each of the sub environments creates an exclusive set of opportunities and challenges for a business organization. Managers and business owners have a great responsibility in ensuring they take control of the internal business environment that covers the day to day operation and decision making. They determine the supplies to buy, the products to sell, the kind of the staff to hire, and the locations to sell their products. By the use of resources and skills, they are required to create services and goods that will meet the demands of the existing and prospective customers. Nevertheless, the external environment conditions that have some impacts on an organization are naturally beyond the control of the management and change frequently. For a business to overcome this, both the mangers and the business owners must invest their time in studying the environment and accordingly help them adapt to such situations.
