            The spreadsheet created is a form for employee job evaluation. An organization needs to evaluate its employees to determine if they have the requisite skills for job performance. Often, it is crucial to have a uniform tool for evaluation to ease the comparison of employees (Cintron & Flaniken, n.d). The job evaluation form presented as a spreadsheet has various skills that the organization expects its employees to possess.

The spreadsheet has the name of the employee, the title of the job, the name of the reviewer, and the date of the review. In addition, there are items of evaluation, including; the quality of work that the employee performs, the dependability of the employee, job knowledge, communication skills, personality, management skills, contribution to the group, productivity, and goals achievement. The items of review are rated on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is the highest score considered excellent, while 1 is the least score considered inferior. It is believed that the employee falls in one of the categories. Evaluation helps to know where the employee needs support (DeNisi & Murphy, 2017). The employees with the highest scores will be considered competent in their work, while employees with the least scores will be identified and appropriate help offered where necessary. Employees who require support are assisted in a coordinated effort that involves the input of different stakeholders (Osmani & Maliqi, 2012).

The spreadsheet has a section where the outcome of the assessment will be summarized. The summary will provide a clear picture of whatever the reviewer will have found. Likewise, there is the feedback section where the evaluator will submit his or her view regarding the assessment. The specific areas of employee weakness will be identified and more effort put into improving such areas to enhance effectiveness in the place of work.
