Systems present in the body and how they coordinate

Introduction

Focusing on this particular report analysis, I will discuss the various systems present in the body and how they coordinate together. I am also aspiring to inform parents about the overall importance of all vaccines and various immunities available. Moreover, the three conventional systems I am going to summarize are the lymphatic system, circulatory system, and the immune system. Focusing on the circulatory system, it makes it possible for blood to circulate across the whole body properly, transports oxygen, hormones, and carbon dioxide. This particular process provides proper nourishment in the body and assists in destroying pathogens alongside maintaining body pH and temperature.

Furthermore, the lymphatic system is also essential, and it constitutes vessels, trunks, and ducts that demolish interstitial fluids in tissues and subjects it back to the bloodstream. Moreover, the immune system represents various types of cells that offer body protection against disease, causing pathogens. Different organs making up the immune systems are marrow in bones, spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus. The cells of the immune system are; T lymphocyte cells, Natural cells of destruction, B lymphocyte cells, macrophages, and granulocytes. Both B lymphocytes and T lymphocytes are crucial in fights that aim at destroying infections. The T lymphocytes available in the thymus are mature, and they are essential helper cells aiding in destroying cells that get infected. B lymphocytes produce antibodies.

The primary blood vessels present in the pulmonary based circuit are pulmonary vein and pulmonary artery. Deoxygenated type of blood coming from the right heart’s side is conveyed in the pulmonary artery and transported to each lung. Moreover, oxygenated type of blood coming from lungs to heart is carried in pulmonary veins. Blood is adequately supplied all over the body to all organs through the systemic circuit. However, this particular systemic circuit is formed up by renal vein, hepatic vein, renal artery, and hepatic artery. Oxygenated type of blood gets transported to the liver, duodenum, pancreas, and stomach through the hepatic artery. Deoxygenated blood gets transported to this inferior vena cava via a hepatic vein. Kidneys get the supply of blood from renal arteries. However, deoxygenated blood gets carried to the inferior type of vena cava by renal veins.

There are two primary veins available in the body, and these are inferior and superior vena cava. Blood from the most preferred parts of the body is drained by superior vena cava. These high-quality parts include; chest, arms, neck, and head. Blood from lower based extremities and stomach is received by inferior vena cava. Both of these veins deliver into the right atrium. Various arteries are present in the body, and they effectively supply blood to critical targeted locations. The carotid artery is the primary/main artery that precisely supplies the head, neck, and face with blood. The subclavian artery provides blood to the arms. The popliteal type of highway is an essential continuation of the femoral kind of artery. This type of artery is at the back of the knee. The artery supplies feet and legs with blood. Kidneys are supplied with blood through renal arteries. The large intestines are supplied with blood from the inferior type of mesenteric artery. Moreover, the palms and fingers get supplied with blood through the ulnar artery.

Moreover, the immune system gets made up of spleen and tonsils. Tonsils are located explicitly at a point where the oral and nasal cavity precisely enter pharynx. Similarly, when an individual inhales germs, they get trapped by tonsils. The trapping of bacteria by tonsils becomes their main function. The primary purpose of the spleen is to get rid of worn-out red blood cells from the circulatory system. The spleen also filters any different types of antigens present in the body.

Moreover, the spleen acts as an area where blood is held for use towards flight or fight response. Lymph present at the left leg gathers into cisterna chili. The lymph flows in an upward manner to the thoracic duct and eventually to the remaining type of subclavian vein (Betts et al., 2017).

The diagram below represents various kinds of immunities that assisted me with a better and clear understanding of the real difference.

  1. Types of immunity.
Innate ImmunityAdaptive Immunity
·         The first line of defense and it’s available all the time in every individual.·         It gets predominantly initiated if an innate response of the immune is not precisely adequate. This step occurs after four or more days (Lloyd et al., 2018).
·         It is immediate from 0 to 4 hours.·         It is an antigen-specific type of immunity.
·         It is non-specific.·         It generates and produces a long-lasting type of protective immunity (.e. memory kind of T-cells, and antibodies)
·         It does not create a durable protective-based sort of immunity.

My view concerning vaccines is focused on the fact that they have been able to eradicate deadly types of diseases. Vaccines are continuing to save more lives. If a parent has not vaccinated his or her child, it is not only dangerous to the child, but it possesses a threat to other children who have not gotten the vaccine. However, children subjected to chemotherapy treatments are not in a position to get vaccinated. Coming in contact with diseases like measles is very deadly to children who have not received any vaccine. Most vaccines get covered with insurance; thus, an individual can save money. Moreover, to control and treat these preventable diseases would be expensive when an individual is hospitalized. Significant benefits outweigh the adverse effects concerned with vaccination.

Conclusion

Vaccination is a vital step that parents are supposed to undertake when raising their kids. It is also essential to understand the different systems present in the body.
