Uber is a transport company which operates in different countries, and it connects the clients with the uber drivers using a phone application.in its recent operations, uber has been hit by different challenges. Most of its clients have either deleted the uber application from their phone or shifted to Lyft for transport services. The clients deleted the application or shifted to Lyft as a way of protesting against the company’s culture and operations. However, as the company’s CEO, various actions can be taken to revamp its image and attract back its clients.
Customers are the building blocks of an organization and to have the company back to its feet, then customers ideas and complaints must be revisited and find solutions. The culture of the company should ensure that it is in line with the clients and the population in which it operates in. With this, the CEO should revise the company’s culture and revise it to ensure it meets the client’s satisfaction.

Another solution is to have the client and uber drivers well connected and have readily available drivers at all times. Sometimes a client logs in to the application only to find out that there are no available drivers or those available are far from the street and it would thus take the time to arrive. This discourages the clients, and they, in turn, look for other means of transport. To solve this, the company should ensure equal distribution of drivers in different streets.
For a company or any organization to perform effectively, there is need to carry out the SWOT analysis. This is the strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities and threats that may create an impact on the organization’s performance. By determining these key aspects and the role they play in uber, the CEO will be able to improve its performance and only create a positive move. There should be a revision and analysis of the company’s culture and how it is relatable to the population it serves. The culture of the business and that of the people should align to have a positive effect on the running of the business.
