Why should young people get involved in politics?

Introduction

The young people in the society should be involved in politics; these people have got the required qualities of and skills of being a good leader. They are capable of growing to be successful political leaders. They are also rich in knowledge of politics and can elect the best leaders in the society. To achieve this, several reasons have been discussed below to show why young people should be involved in politics.

Young people are creative and innovative.

Young populations are involved in activities such as innovation and creativity. This is evident that if they get into power they will change the state by encouraging more innovative ideas from the citizens. In the other hand they can advise the current leaders to focus on innovation. Coming up with innovative ideas to solve the main challenges facing the USA community. E.g. use of green architecture, solar power driven cars.

The young populations have got passion in politics

Some people have interest on politics since they were young .The want to associate with people who are politicians. They have political leaders who are their mentors and this shows that they can result to be successful politicians like their mentors.

 Young people can easily access social media.

The young population is also very much familiar with social media such as Facebook and Instagram and they can use these platforms to pass and access message in their community (Vromen et al 2015) .This facilitate easy transfer of information from the government to the citizens.

Young population has natural leaders.

The young population is made of individuals who were born as natural leaders. From their young age they showed characteristics of a leader. They transformed the same in school, church and in the society they perform their duties with enthusiasm. Thus some body in their society can identify them as already leaders. This motivates them in the field of politics (Wattenberg, M. P. 2015). The young people are currently being trained in institutions about politics. They gain leadership skills. The young are taking training on political works aiming to get into the leadership roles after the older generation.

Good decision makers.

Young generations are considered as mature at age of 12 years. According to the law and if they youth are able to choose what’s wrong and right they should then be given the opportunity to vote. The young at this age can also make decisions on who among the politicians has the leadership qualities and can serve them well. This means that they should be respected and given the authority to vote at this age.

They are trained in politics.

The young population is in training institutions. Here they obtain the knowledge and skills on leadership from training institutes. Most of the youth learn about leadership roles or have come across any leader in their institutions. They utilize the time in college to gain leadership qualities and skills .They can now be able to practice this in their society.

The young population is made of individuals who can make decision at any moment. This is true because they are capable to come up with good decision in life. The youth can use this procedure to identify who is aspiring politician with the best leadership skills. In future they can apply this when they grow to be political leaders (Tomlinson et al 2016).

They understand their community well.

The young populations have got knowledge on their society; they can easily identify the needs of the people in the society. This means that they are able to listen and observe keenly the manifestos of the aspirants and to establish whether they are meeting the community needs if not .They look for leaders who are focused on the needs of the community.

They Respect their community.

The young generations highly respect the views of the community members. They can easily be controlled if they go wrong and this promotes happy life in the society. When they become leaders they will listed to advice of the people in the society (Azmi et al 2016). And do according to the majority wish. In conclusion from the points above it is fact that the young have to vote and should be given the opportunity to their view on political issues. This might result to appositive change in political system in USA.
